Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) Organic Essential Oil

Tea Tree oil is well known for its healing capabilities.  It is a powerful antifungal and provides immune support.  It can be directly applied to acne and other skin eruptions and wounds, a drop at a time.  Tea Tree is not  particularly good at penetrating the skin, so it is best combined with other antifungal oils such as Geranium, Rose, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Lemongrass, Patchouli, Palmarosa and Spikenard.  Robert Tisserand is the expert on the properties of essential oils and he has found that Tea Tree essential oil is effective in the treatment of various infestations, such as dust mites and head lice.  It can also help to eliminate dandruff.  We use Tea Tree sparingly in steams and diffusers to ward off infection, and use it liberally in our green cleaning products.  Our organic Tea Tree oil is grown and distilled in Australia.
