Lemon (Citrus limon) Organic Essential Oil

Along with Lavender and Peppermint oils, Lemon essential oil is among the most popular. This organic essential oil is distilled in Italy from the rind of the lemons and is a happy yellow color.  Lemon oil is cooling and refreshing.  It is an antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, an immune system stimulator and provides support to the liver. Lemon oil helps to clarify thought and it can be a great supportive scent in times of great stress.  Due to Lemon oil's antibacterial strengths, we almost always include this oil in our green cleaning products.  It is a great degreaser and helps with acne, warts and boils.  Please be aware that Lemon essential oil is highly photo-toxic.  This means that you should never apply it to the skin prior to sun exposure as it can result in sun burn.
