Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum grandiflorum) Organic Essential Oil

There is absolutely nothing that compares to the heady aroma of Jasmine.  This organic oil is distilled in India from the flowers of the plant.  The flowers are picked before the sun comes up in order to get the best harvest.  The aroma is sensual and exotic.  It can be overly sweet if too much is used, which is a good thing given the price of high quality Jasmine oil.  A little goes a long way here.  This oil's scent is strong and pure and lingers in the air for quite some time.  One drop is often all we use in a blend.  Historically, Jasmine has been used as an aphrodisiac, probably because it is said to lift inhibitions.  It is mood enhancing and supportive, can encourage positive thinking and ease depression.  A drop of this oil in the bath is transportive.
