Soaps

Do you read labels?  Well that bar of "soap" that you are using, may not even be soap!  It might be labeled as a cleansing bar, or facial bar, because it is not soap!  It is most likely made with detergents, synthetics and artificial colors and scents.  

Our handmade artisanal soaps contain none of these ingredients.  Instead, they are made of saponified natural oils, butters and distilled water.  We often add organic teas and herbs, and use natural colorants and essential oils.  Glycerin is a natural ingredient in handmade soaps.  It is naturally moisturizing and so does not dry out the skin the way that detergents do.  Because we make all of out soaps in small batches, we are able to customize each batch, and we have a lot of fun trying different recipes.  Enjoy!
