Palo Santo, or Holy Wood essential oil smell citrusy with notes of pine and lemon. It is said to be energetically cleansing, supportive and grounding and has been historically used in religious ceremonies. This is a great oil to diffuse in a blend during meditation. It is said to reduce panic attacks and anxiety. When combined with Frankincense it is wonderful for the treatment of headaches. It is also used to reduce pain and muscle tension in rubs and to treat skin infections. I first tried this oil in a blend with Frankincense, Myrrh and some Fir oils during meditation and was hooked.
