Our Eucalyptus Globulus is organically grown in South Africa and the oil is distilled from the leaves of the tree. The oil smells of camphor and is a familiar scent to most as it is present in Vick's Vapor Rub. It is an expectorant and has decongestive qualities. It is also antifungal, antiviral and antiseptic so it is wonderful to steam, diffuse or use in an inhaler whenever you feel a cold or cough starting. And even though we all probably had Vick's rubbed on our chests at a young age, we don't recommend using this oil on young children. Eucalyptus Radiata is a better choice for the elderly, the young, and those with compromised health. Eucalyptus has a refreshing scent and is uplifting in nature.
